Description
Amazon is hiring Maintenance Technicians for its Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering team at the Jandakot site in Perth. The role involves maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, automated packaging, and distribution machinery; responding to breakdowns; performing preventative maintenance; diagnosing faults; implementing improvements to reduce downtime; and following health and safety standards. Day-shift positions are available on a four-day roster with 10-hour shifts and one weekend day, with annual leave and applicable penalty rates. Required qualifications include relevant trade qualifications, planned preventative maintenance experience, fault-finding experience with material handling or automation systems, the ability to read electrical or mechanical drawings, conveyor and motor controller experience, and health and safety experience. Preferred experience includes CMMS, sortation machines, barcode scanners, and print-and-apply machines.
