Description
The Maintenance Technician performs repairs and maintenance on office buildings, apartment units, equipment, and common areas, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, weatherization, groundskeeping, cleaning, and minor appliance work. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of general maintenance experience, a Texas Class C driver’s license, gas-operator training, and completion of required maintenance and apartment maintenance technician certifications within 18 months. The position involves regular onsite work, on-call rotations, overtime, outdoor work in all weather, and physical demands including climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.
