Description
The Maintenance Technician supports the ongoing maintenance of Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms and facilities. Responsibilities include identifying and repairing maintenance needs, performing basic repairs, cleaning facilities and outdoor areas, inspecting sites for safety hazards, maintaining equipment, assisting with remodeling and furniture moves, and transporting materials. The role requires four to five years of general repair, carpentry, facilities maintenance, assembly, plumbing, electrical, or painting experience, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and travel up to 50% of the time.
