Description
Valero Energy is hiring a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain equipment at its terminal and marine docks. The role involves preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance, commissioning assistance, bolted-joint assembly, problem diagnosis, mechanical-part replacement, welding, and operating hoists, vacuum trucks, and telescoping mast lifts. The technician will work with a multidisciplinary team of ten technicians and may support maintenance across several fields. A college diploma in mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance technology, or an equivalent vocational qualification supplemented by relevant training and experience, plus at least five years of industrial experience, is required; petroleum, machining, electromechanics, pipefitting, English, and teamwork are preferred or beneficial.
