Description
The Maintenance Trainee will receive hands-on training from skilled maintenance technicians and complete community-college or equivalent coursework before moving into an opening as a Maintenance Technician. The role performs preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on plant equipment, including mechanical systems, electrical motors and controls, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, power transmission, conveyors, and three-phase power. Applicants should have at least one semester of Industrial Maintenance or a similar program; an associate degree or two or more years of manufacturing maintenance experience is preferred. The position also requires conduit experience, familiarity with the National Electrical Code, part-ordering ability, and safe, professional work practices.
