Ontario Center is hiring a Maintenance Worker in Canandaigua, New York. The role performs facility and equipment inspections, responds to staff and resident maintenance requests, repairs and maintains vacated rooms, troubleshoots emergency equipment issues, and keeps equipment clean and operational. Applicants need basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance knowledge, a high school diploma or equivalent, initiative, multitasking and stress-management ability, teamwork skills, and preferably a driver's license. The worker must be on call every other weekend.
