Description
The Maintenance Worker will assist under direct supervision with the routine maintenance, operation, and repair of public buildings and their equipment. Duties include minor repairs to building hardware, furniture, windows, masonry, woodwork, flooring, walls, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems; visual inspections for defects and hazardous conditions; recordkeeping; equipment relocation; and travel to work sites. The role is open to qualified persons with disabilities eligible for the 55-a Program and is available in multiple locations throughout the Borough of Brooklyn.
