Description
CoreCivic is hiring a Maintenance Worker to install, maintain, and repair building structures, plumbing, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles, and grounds in an institutional, secure setting. The role includes preventative maintenance, equipment diagnostics, electrical repairs, and supervision and tracking of inmates or residents assigned to the Maintenance Department. Applicants need a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent; two years of general maintenance or construction experience; knowledge of building construction and building-system operation; a valid driver's license; and must be at least 18 years old. The listed pay is $20.17 per hour.
