Description
The Maintenance Worker will perform repairs and maintenance on structures, electrical systems, plumbing, washers and dryers, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and drainage systems at Gadsden Correctional Facility (MTC) in Quincy, Florida. The role also includes minor construction, fixture and security-lock installation, surface preparation, and directing inmates assigned to the department. It is a full-time Monday–Friday position paying $19.37 per hour, with health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) match, paid time off, paid holidays, and advancement opportunities. Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, technical training, two years of related experience, communication and computer skills, and a Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
