Sweetwood of Williamstown is hiring a Maintenance Worker in Williamstown, Massachusetts to coordinate and oversee upkeep of an assisted-living facility and its surroundings. The role includes daily facility inspections, preventive maintenance, minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, cosmetic, lighting, painting, furniture-moving, and equipment-repair work, as well as responding to maintenance logs, completing special projects, solving facility issues, and collaborating with staff and the Maintenance Director to improve resident living areas and facility systems. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of on-the-job experience are required; construction or professional trade experience and familiarity with hand and power tools are preferred.
