Description
The role maintains county buildings, grounds, athletic fields, equipment, and related facilities through general, custodial, grounds, building, and preventive maintenance. Duties include cleaning restrooms, operating lawn and field-care machinery, repairing light fixtures and equipment, monitoring supplies, transporting materials, following safety procedures, completing maintenance records, and coordinating with supervisors and other departments. The assignment may include parks and recreation duties such as turf care, field preparation, playground maintenance, and recreational-event support. The position requires two months of relevant experience or equivalent training, a valid Georgia driver’s license, and, if assigned to Facilities Management, a criminal justice background check.
