Description
The Exploration Company is hiring a MAIT Additive Manufacturing Materials Intern to support the development, qualification, characterization, and in-house production of materials for Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) aerospace components. The intern will work with internal laboratories, external testing partners, AM Operations, Propulsion, and Quality teams on alloy development, powder management, process parameters, build preparation, machine operation, documentation, quality improvement, and corrective actions. The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant engineering or materials field, strong materials-science fundamentals, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and fluency in English; LPBF experience and aerospace materials knowledge are preferred.
