Description
The Maître d'hôtel supports the Restaurant and Room Service Manager by managing reservations and table occupancy, welcoming and seating guests, taking orders, coordinating dining-room service, liaising with the kitchen, processing payments, resolving guest issues, and contributing to inventory and service improvements. The role requires hotel-school education or equivalent experience, two years of experience in a similar role, payment-system and computer proficiency, dining-room service knowledge, English and a second foreign language, and strong interpersonal and management skills.
