Vistra Nuclear Operations Company is hiring an identifiable nuclear thermal-engineering role within its Major Projects-Engineering organization. The position owns and resolves higher-tier station thermal performance issues at Beaver Valley, Perry, and Davis-Besse nuclear power plants to support unit uprates, coordinates with cooling tower, steam turbine, and steam-cycle vendors, analyzes complex thermal issues, oversees vendor activities, and prepares recommendations. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least four years of experience, and relevant thermal-performance or nuclear experience; mechanical engineering and nuclear experience are preferred. The work is associated with Shippingport, Pennsylvania.
