Description
The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is hiring a full-time Maker Space & Machine Shop Supervisor to manage the engineering building’s machine shop, maker space, and student project lab. The role combines hands-on machining and fabrication work with safety oversight, equipment maintenance, training, mentoring students, supervising student workers, and developing programming for the fabrication space. It requires substantial machining experience, an associate’s degree or equivalent journeyman qualification, and familiarity with CAD/CAM, technical drawings, GD&T, office software, and a wide range of fabrication and prototyping equipment.
