Description
The Staatstheater Darmstadt is hiring a Makeup/Mask Designer to replace a parent on leave for a limited term ending with the expected conclusion of the 2027/28 season. The role covers hair work, wig and beard preparation, mask and special-effects creation, plaster and silicone work, and supervision of rehearsals and performances, including fitting wigs, applying makeup, and styling performers’ hair. The position is full-time and may also be filled part-time, requires completed makeup/mask-designer training, and offers further training, a Hesse state ticket, company health management, and production viewing opportunities.
