The Mammography Technologist performs mammograms under the direction of a radiologist, lead technician, chief technician, or technical director and may perform other duties supporting SDMI. The role requires A.R.R.T. registration and certification in mammography, at least one year of experience, advanced mammography-specific training, and the ability to organize work, maintain patient confidentiality, follow safety and evacuation procedures, and work effectively as part of a team.
