Description
The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs mammography-related diagnostic procedures, including positioning, exposure, patient education, and communication with patients and medical staff. The role is full-time in Gainesville, Florida, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends. Candidates must complete formal radiologic technology training, hold current ARRT Radiography certification, and have mammography certification or MQSA registry eligibility; ARRT advanced mammography certification, two years of mammography experience, ultrasound or stereotactic biopsy experience, quality control experience, and RIS/PACS knowledge are preferred.
