Description
The Management Trainee joins an Operations Management Trainee Program featuring 16 weeks of intensive training in transportation-industry principles, cross-dock operations, leadership communication, and relationship building. The trainee completes guided and independent study, works with support and service center associates, observes customer sales calls with an Account Manager, and occasionally accompanies drivers on local delivery routes. Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Transportation or Logistics or at least two years of related experience, an acceptable driving history, flexibility to relocate, strong communication and listening skills, basic computer skills, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. The role is on the third shift and pays an average annual starting salary of $50,000-$60,000.
