Lam Research is hiring a Director of Advanced Technologies to lead and develop its Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Equipment Intelligence teams, including vision systems for semiconductor spin-clean tools. The role owns the team’s strategic roadmap, production-grade machine learning and predictive maintenance solutions, cross-functional innovation, stakeholder communication, and talent development. Candidates need a master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline, at least 8 years of experience in data science, machine learning, AI, analytics, software engineering, or equipment intelligence, and prior experience leading technical teams or innovation initiatives. The position is based in Villach, Austria, with hybrid work options.
