Description
The Manager, Applications Development leads a team of approximately eight to twelve application developers and business analysts responsible for delivering and supporting American Equity’s enterprise API platform. The role owns the technical roadmap, API lifecycle governance, integration standards, production readiness, observability, and alignment with enterprise architecture and event-driven patterns. It requires deep .NET expertise, cloud and REST API knowledge, experience with enterprise API platforms and offshore teams, and supervisory experience; the position is based onsite in Des Moines.
