Coupang Corp. is hiring a Backend Engineering Manager for its Merchant Engineering team to lead the technical strategy and execution of merchant platforms across Korea and global services. The role oversees the full software development lifecycle, backend architecture, system stability, engineering quality, project and resource management, and the recruitment and development of backend engineers. Candidates need at least 8 years of backend development experience, proven leadership experience, expertise in large-scale distributed systems and microservice architectures, and strong English communication skills.
