Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Manager, Chief Engineer to oversee the continuous and uninterrupted operation of critical facility equipment and systems in a large Tier III data center campus. This role involves managing scheduled and corrective maintenance, system repairs, testing, and commissioning, ensuring zero downtime and optimal performance. The manager will lead a team of specialists and technicians, focusing on extensive customer service, quality assurance, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Ten years of "hands-on" maintenance/repair/installation/commissioning level experience in mission-critical facilities (mechanical and/or electrical), including experience with mission-critical infrastructure.
Two years of leadership/management experience, including project management, meeting deadlines, directing a maintenance department, and managing/staff development in mission-critical infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications: Complete understanding and working knowledge of 2N Data Center/Critical Facility infrastructure, systems, operations, maintenance, and emergency responses.
Strong Technical Writing skills and experience, along with the ability to create, coordinate, update, and modify MOP/EOP/SOPs for critical facilities equipment, including new systems and research.
Excellent customer service experience, with the ability to engage customers at the site to explain infrastructure or engineering-related concepts, methods of improvement, or emergency procedures.
Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain constant interaction with supervisors, managers, and technicians to stay informed about critical facility activities.
Experience in developing budgets, future plans, capital investments, and repair projects, coordinating financial requests up to the CEO level, and training subordinates to adhere to budget constraints.
