Description
Abacus Insights is hiring a Manager, Client Data Engineering to lead a globally distributed team of approximately 10–12 data engineering professionals within its TechOps and Technical Implementation organization. The role combines hands-on technical leadership, client implementation management, data engineering execution, operational planning, performance management, and talent development across healthcare data use cases such as ETL workflows, data mapping, CMS interoperability, and clinical data integration. Candidates need 7+ years of data engineering experience, a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, leadership experience, strong Python, PySpark, SQL, ETL, AWS, and data integration skills, plus familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, GitHub or GitLab, GenAI, and agentic development approaches. The position is on-site with standard hours of 9 hours per day, 5 days per week.
