Description
KAYAK is hiring a Manager, Kubernetes Operations to lead the reliability, scalability, security, and operational strategy of its container orchestration platform. The role manages a team of platform engineers, oversees cluster lifecycle management, workload migration, infrastructure-as-code and GitOps adoption, observability, incident response, and security hardening across production and non-production environments. It requires extensive SRE, DevOps, or platform engineering experience, Kubernetes expertise, leadership experience, and knowledge of cloud infrastructure and automation tools. The role is based in Massachusetts and offers a base salary of $175,000-$200,000 plus bonus and RSU eligibility.
