Lam Research is hiring a Semiconductor Engineering Director to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and define the strategic technology roadmap for next-generation semiconductor technologies and products. The role covers hardware, software, and integrated systems development; concept development and feasibility; cross-functional technology maturation; supplier and research partnerships; and team performance, workforce planning, and talent development. Candidates need a master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline, at least 8 years of relevant engineering experience, prior technical leadership experience, and semiconductor or highly regulated high-technology experience. The position is based in Villach, Austria, with hybrid work options.
