Description
Sound Transit is hiring a senior permitting and regulatory compliance leader to manage and execute the agency’s regulatory code compliance framework and permitting strategy for capital programs, facilities, and service modes across an assigned corridor. The role leads a corridor permitting project management team, oversees complex permitting and regulatory issues, coordinates with local, state, and federal authorities, manages consultants and budgets, and develops regulatory policy recommendations. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, five years of progressive regulatory experience, three years of leadership experience, and a valid Washington state driver’s license. The position is hybrid, with at least three days per week in the office or equivalent field work.
