Description

BDO is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to provide independent assessment and advisory services for accreditation and compliance, review security strategies and roadmaps, and support engagements involving NIST CSF, ISO 27001, APRA CPS 234, NSW Cyber Security Policy, the Essential 8, and internal cyber audits. The role is client-facing and requires cybersecurity, assurance, risk management, governance, security architecture, and stakeholder-management expertise, along with relevant certifications and experience. It also supports business development, project delivery, and the growth of the Cyber Security team.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Experience in cybersecurity, assurance, or risk management
Experience in cybersecurity consulting, internal audit, risk advisory, or related advisory roles
Experience supporting or delivering threat risk assessments and cyber transformation initiatives
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with government or critical infrastructure clients
CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification
Knowledge of cybersecurity standards including ISO 27001, NIST, and ACSC Essential 8
Foundation in security governance, operating model design, and assurance services
Understanding of network infrastructure and security architecture principles
Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical findings into business insights
