SpaceX is hiring a Manager, Data Center Hardware & Infrastructure (TS/SCI) to build and lead a distributed team responsible for the design, deployment, operations, and lifecycle management of classified and enterprise data center hardware. The role combines hands-on technical work with servers, power, cooling, GPU/AI clusters, storage, networking, and high-density compute with people-management duties, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and team culture. Responsibilities include capacity planning, procurement, hardware standards, availability operations, vendor and budget management, DCIM and automation, and compliance with classified-environment requirements. The position requires a STEM bachelor’s degree, extensive data center and infrastructure leadership and hands-on experience, and an active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance. The role may require domestic and potentially international travel and offers a base salary of $165,000 to $240,000 plus benefits.
