Description
Zipline is hiring a Data Operations Manager to lead the organization and end-to-end operations for collecting, annotating, validating, and delivering high-quality real-world data for its machine learning and autonomy teams. The role partners with ML, autonomy, engineering, and data infrastructure teams; designs annotation, validation, quality-control, and automation workflows; develops managers and teams; and uses operational data to improve scale, quality, speed, and cost. Candidates should have experience leading and scaling operational or technical teams, owning complex operational systems, and translating model needs into data requirements. The starting cash range is $150,000-$180,000, with possible equity, overtime, bonuses, and benefits.
