Amazon is hiring a Data Science Manager to lead the ASIN Classification team within WAVE. The role manages applied scientists, data scientists, and engineers; defines the science roadmap; owns end-to-end delivery of supervised, unsupervised, and large-language-model classification solutions; builds scalable data environments and ML pipelines; establishes production monitoring and KPIs; and mentors team members. The position requires a master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field, at least 8 years of data science or applied machine learning experience, 3+ years in people management, and expertise in Python, SQL, machine learning, LLMs, and multi-modal learning.
