UniSuper is hiring a Manager, Data Science to lead its data science capability and a small team of specialists. The role combines people leadership with technical direction across machine learning, predictive and propensity modelling, model governance, production scoring, performance monitoring, and business impact assessment. The manager will partner with senior stakeholders and business leaders to identify analytical opportunities, evaluate commercial and risk implications, and ensure models support financial crime risk, operational efficiency, and regulatory obligations. The position requires substantial hands-on data science experience, proven team leadership, production modelling expertise, and intermediate-to-advanced Python and machine learning capability, with a 60% office commitment.
