Description
Gusto is hiring an Engineering Manager for its AI Dev Tools team, which builds agentic coding environments, automated AI code review, and the CI/security infrastructure supporting autonomous AI workloads. The role owns the roadmap, security posture, vendor contracts, AI spend guardrails, and the growth of a team of senior engineers, while partnering with engineering leadership on AI-native software development strategy. Candidates need at least 8 years of engineering people leadership experience, hands-on experience with agentic coding tools, and experience owning significant vendor or infrastructure contracts. The role is based in Denver, San Francisco, New York City, or a remote location, with hybrid office expectations of approximately 2–3 days per week.
