Tailscale is hiring a Manager, Developer Relations Engineering to lead a technical team that builds integrations, example applications, open-source projects, demos, tutorials, workshops, and other developer experiences. The role combines player-coach engineering leadership with hands-on technical execution, product and roadmap planning, cross-functional collaboration, developer feedback, and measurement of adoption and engagement. Candidates need at least six years of relevant experience and two years managing or leading technical contributors, along with strong software engineering, program management, communication, and developer-ecosystem experience. The position offers a CAD 215,740–269,340 base salary range, equity, variable commission, and comprehensive benefits.
