Description

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is hiring an Electrical Hardware Technical Program Manager to own end-to-end delivery for a portfolio of Infotainment and Connectivity ECU programs. The role leads a team of ECU Technical Program Managers, manages engineering schedules and budgets, coordinates hardware, software, suppliers, and vehicle-level stakeholders, drives build readiness and launch support, mitigates program risks, and improves agile development processes. Candidates need at least eight years of relevant program, engineering, or product development experience, a BS or MS in a relevant technical field, and strong electronics, systems, and program management expertise.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
Required Previous Experiences: 8+ years of experience on a program team or equivalent experience in technical program management, engineering, or product development
Experience managing and developing teams of technical program managers
Prior relevant engineering experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering
Experience working with contract manufacturers and vendors for PCBA, mechanical housings, and high-level assemblies
Experience developing, launching, and sustaining complex electromechanical products through the full product lifecycle
Experience tracking and driving the progress of multiple concurrent projects
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Build-to-Print contract manufacturing, JDM, or Tier 1 supplier partners in co-development
Familiarity with ECU hardware validation, ISO 26262 functional safety, FMEA, and risk-based test coverage
Interest in AI-driven solutions for communication, reporting, visualization, and analysis
