Description
The Engineering Manager will lead the Engineering department at SAMACO, overseeing design input and output, design control, scheduling, customer design approvals, audits, and coordination with Sales, Customer Care, Estimating, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and other divisions. The role manages custom-design projects, promotes manufacturing-process improvements, and provides guidance on ASME code and pressure-vessel design. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5–10 years of engineering experience, with heavy-metal-fabrication management experience preferred; the work is primarily office-based with occasional manufacturing-area duties.
