Description

LTK is hiring a remote Data Science Manager to lead a team building its native AI platform and conversational AI capabilities. The role focuses on recommendations, retrieval, ranking, semantic understanding, LLM-powered workflows, model production, experimentation, evaluation, and reliable AI systems. The manager will also hire, develop, coach, and manage data science talent while partnering with engineering, product, and brand teams. The position requires 7+ years of data science, machine learning, or applied AI experience, 3+ years managing data scientists or equivalent leadership experience, production ML experience, and strong Python and SQL skills.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI roles
3+ years of experience managing data scientists or equivalent project and mentoring leadership
Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production
Experience with agentic AI, LLMs, advanced RAG, and workflow-based AI systems
Experience driving projects from planning through execution with AI coding assistant tools
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in marketplace, social commerce, or recommendation-driven products
Experience with large-scale or real-time data systems
