Description
GitLab is hiring a Manager, Engineering, Nonlinear Productivity (Friction Elimination & Solutions) to improve developer productivity by identifying friction in internal software development and code-generation workflows, evaluating build-buy-adapt options, prototyping technical solutions, driving internal adoption, and building cases for productizing durable fixes. The role reports to the Senior Manager or Director, Nonlinear Productivity, manages a small high-caliber team or operates as a hands-on working manager, and requires technical depth, product judgment, familiarity with agentic or AI-assisted development tooling, and people-management experience. The role is remote, with location-based eligibility requirements that may apply.
