Description
Starbucks is hiring an Engineering Manager for its GenAI Platform team to lead platform engineers and drive observability, audit, reliability, and automation across agent development, MCP gateway, and multi-cloud infrastructure. The role owns observability AI agents, SLO/SLI frameworks, incident management, distributed tracing, telemetry pipelines, OpenTelemetry, and developer-tooling solutions, while also hiring, coaching, and developing engineers. Candidates need at least five years of software development experience, two years leading engineering teams, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and experience with observability tools, infrastructure-as-code, cloud platforms, and agentic AI systems.
