FORT Robotics is hiring a Firmware Engineering Manager to own its firmware group end-to-end, including people, delivery, technical direction, and hands-on embedded engineering. The role is based in Philadelphia on a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days per week in the office. Responsibilities include writing and reviewing safety-critical C/C++ firmware, implementing real-time and bare-metal systems, bringing up hardware, debugging, improving CI/CD and test automation, and managing Agile Scrum, quality processes, workforce development, and cross-team technical risks. The role requires at least six years of embedded software development, two years leading or managing engineers, and a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
