Impulse Space is hiring a Manager for Spacecraft Actuators to lead actuator design, development, testing, production ramp, operation, sustainment, and improvement across spacecraft programs. The role manages responsible engineers, sets the actuator product roadmap, establishes engineering processes, directs test campaigns, collaborates across engineering, manufacturing, and operations, and retains technical ownership as an individual contributor. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, demonstrated experience developing, testing, and flying space mechanisms or actuators, strong actuator technical knowledge, and team management experience; a master’s degree and 4+ years leading spacecraft actuator design and development are preferred.
