Google is hiring a Manager of a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineering team to lead AI/ML engineers who develop, debug, and deploy bespoke agentic solutions in customer environments. The role combines technical leadership, code and architectural standards, technical hiring, skill-gap management, and collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Google Cloud Regional Sales to resolve production-level AI challenges. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 8 years of cloud or technical customer-facing experience, 2 years managing a software engineering or similar team, Python experience, and experience with AI/GenAI solutions, multi-agent workflows, or RAG systems.
