Description
The Manager of a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team leads AI/ML engineers who develop, debug, and jointly deploy bespoke agentic solutions in customer environments. The role provides technical mentorship, sets engineering standards, partners with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership, leads technical hiring, identifies emerging-AI skill gaps, and helps translate customer blockers into roadmaps and internal tools. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, eight years of cloud or technical customer-facing experience, people-management experience, Python or similar coding experience, and experience with AI/GenAI solutions, multi-agent workflows, or RAG systems. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, secure multi-agent system design, complex infrastructure architecture, and discovery-interview experience. The role offers a US salary of $262,000–$364,000 plus a 25% bonus target, equity, and benefits, with potential work locations in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and Sunnyvale.
