Amazon is hiring a Hardware Commodity Manager to own and execute hardware supply chain strategies for its satellite constellation manufacturing. The role manages a team of Global Commodity Managers, develops sourcing strategies for aerospace hardware subsystems, coordinates with engineering and program management, resolves supplier quality issues, builds resilient supplier bases, mitigates supply chain risks, and reports strategic sourcing status. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least three years of team management experience, seven or more years of supply chain or vendor management experience, and five or more years of strategic sourcing or category management in propulsion, optics, or solar subsystems. The role is based in Bellevue, Washington, with a base salary of $151,000 to $204,300 annually.
