Ford Motor Company is hiring a Manager, HIL Test Systems in Long Beach, California, for a hybrid role requiring work from home and from the worksite. The manager will lead and develop HIL test engineers, define and improve HIL test strategies for battery management systems and high-voltage charging, oversee dSPACE, Typhoon, and vector-based test systems, build automated test systems, and coordinate with hardware, software, validation, and safety teams. The role requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant engineering field and extensive experience with HIL testing, Python automation, dSPACE and Typhoon systems, electrical systems engineering, CAPL scripting, and team management. Domestic travel of up to 5% is required, and the salary is $196,582.56–$233,390.04 per year.
