Description
SB Energy is hiring a Manager, HV Electrical Engineering to own HV/MV electrical engineering scope for large-scale AI data center projects. The role covers utility interconnections, transmission lines, substations, MV distribution, transformers, switchgear, protection and control, SCADA, telecommunications, generation, BESS/UPS, grid integration, reliability architectures, system studies, vendor design reviews, and commissioning. The position requires at least five years of power systems engineering experience, a BSEE or related degree, and the ability to coordinate utilities, ISO/RTOs, EPCs, consultants, and contractors. It is based in Redwood City, San Diego, Denver, Phoenix, or Austin, with up to 20% domestic and international travel, and offers a base salary of $140,000–$165,000 plus benefits.
