Description

Amazon Robotics is hiring a Manager III, Hardware Development to lead compliance laboratory testing operations across two A2LA-accredited laboratories at BOS12 and BOS27. The role manages laboratory operations and ISO 17025 accreditation, leads engineers in EMC/EMI, radio frequency, and electrical product safety testing, prioritizes testing capacity, plans capability expansion, and partners with product compliance engineering and executive stakeholders. The position is based in North Reading or Westboro, Massachusetts, with a base salary of 151,000 to 204,300 USD annually.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or experience working in electrical engineering
Required Previous Experiences: Experience managing teams, mentoring, or leading an engineering team
Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines
Working knowledge of EMC/EMI, RF, and electrical product safety testing
Familiarity with ISO 17025 laboratory accreditation and quality management systems
Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading teams across multiple locations in complex manufacturing or production environments
Knowledge of ISO, IEC, or regulatory requirements and standards
Experience managing laboratory resources, equipment, and supplies
