Amazon is hiring a Manager III, Software Development for distributed software systems in San Francisco. The role owns the design, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of large-scale multi-tiered systems, provides technical leadership and project management across the software development lifecycle, leads design reviews, and manages and mentors engineering teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field, one year of experience in the offered job or related software engineering occupation, and one year of experience with technical leadership, project management, and distributed software development using Java, C#, or C++. The schedule is 40 hours per week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a salary range of $212,700 to $287,700 per year.
