Description
SpaceX is hiring a Manager, IT Infrastructure to lead a team of IT engineers responsible for designing, developing, operating, and maintaining enterprise compute, virtualization, and storage platforms supporting engineering, production, and mission workloads. The role includes capacity planning, high-availability and disaster-recovery architecture, performance engineering, standards, vendor coordination, automation, and hands-on troubleshooting, while also mentoring systems engineers. Candidates need a STEM bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant infrastructure experience, or 8+ years in lieu of a degree, plus 5+ years leading technical IT teams. The position offers a base salary of $165,000 to $240,000 and medical, vision, and dental coverage.
