Description
KAYAK is hiring a Manager, Kubernetes Operations to lead the reliability, scalability, security, and operational strategy of its container orchestration platform. The role manages a team of platform engineers, owns Kubernetes cluster lifecycle and workload migration, drives infrastructure-as-code and GitOps, establishes observability and incident-response practices, and partners with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams. It requires 8+ years of SRE, DevOps, or platform/infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years in engineering leadership, along with Kubernetes, cloud, infrastructure-as-code, observability, scripting, and people-management expertise. The role is based in Massachusetts and offers a base salary of $175,000-$200,000 plus bonus and RSU grants.
